CANDLES DEPT.

You are in the candles department of Aw-Regalos, where you will find a lot of shapes and styles of candles. The manufacture of candles dates of ancient times, almost in the middle ages in Asia were used made of animal fat. It was on the middle of XVIII century and began to produce a preparation with a basis of paraffin, stearic acid (solid fatty acid) and sometimes beeswax, hydrogenated animal oils or other fatty materials.

The oldest form known for making candles is the suspension of the candle in a container which there is frozen wax. Removing the candle container and wait until it melts when heated. This process is repeated several times on the candle until get the thickness searched. Even some candles are manufactured candles craft in this way, although most them are produced by molds and machinery in factories.
